Today has been one of the worst and crazy days ever health wise. 10 people, including myself and possibly more have all got a stomach flu or something that is absolutely horrendous. We were at my friend’s house for his son’s birthday and beginning at 1-2 am on Sunday morning, shit hit the fan..almost literally. I woke up at 3 to some of the most violent vomiting I have ever experienced and I have had many stomach flu’s throughout my life, but jebus this was bad. No warning, no first convulsion before the gross comes out, just BAM HOW YOU LIKE ME NOW?!?!? After I calmed down I found out 3 of my friends were already sick. At 5:30 am I get a call from my boyfriend who was supposed to go drifting today but couldn’t because he was in the same boat. We contacted everybody from the party trying to deduce if it was food poisoning but not everybody ate the same stuff so were guessing somebody had a bug and fucked us all up. One byone we git more notifications that people were getting sick and it seemed to be an hour after the person before did. It’s crazy. One friend has hit pneumonia from this fiasco and I’m scared I could get bronchitis again because my lungs hurt, but I think that’s general flu aches and pains. This has been a crazy fucking day, I have never seen a virus spread that fast between people.
I woke up at 3am having to puke badly. After I finally calmed down I checked Facebook just for the hell of it since I can’t fall asleep yet. There’s something kind of funny about seeing in chronological order that your friends have also been puking all night probably from eating the same thing. Synchro-sick GO!
Gawker is crowdsourcing TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS to pay off the drug dealers who have a video that allegedly shows the mayor of my city smoking crack.
And I think everyone in this city should ask - How DARE you?
Let me talk to you a second about drugs, criminality,…

Mu friend preordered the Femshep Bishoujo statue as a Xmas present for me. It just arrived at work finally!! Such a gorgeous figure.
Also, fuck my camera for not focusing on her no matter what lol. I gave up after it decided Sonic and Ezio were more important and I had to get back to work.

That horrible woman who reversed into my car just went to her insurance claiming I rear-ended her. My car. The one that was stopped waiting for her to decide where the fuck she wanted to park. Explain how an immobile car could rear-end you. Thank gawd I filled out a police report and have 2 witnesses even though they were in my car. If she dares to take this further I am taking her ass to court. Fucking scum of the earth.

That looks amazing!! What tools/machines do you have available to you when you’re making this stuff? I would love to buy or make my boyfriend buy these things for his garage and pretend it’s totally not for me, but for all his car stuff hahahahaha.
Ladies!!!!
I want to know what video game got you into gaming?
My first gaming experience was Sonic the…
WHEN YOU WALK AWAY, YOU DON’T HEAR ME SAY, PLLLEEEAASSSEEE OH, BABY!!!
Kingdom hearts sucked me in. Granted, I’ve played games since I was a wee lil bitty, they were mainly with my brother. KH was the one that sparked the interest and had me exploring other games outside if my brothers collection.
Final Fantasy 10. I’d played other games before that, even had some notable obsessions (Tetris, Jewelbox, Civ), but it wasn’t until I picked up FFX and fell totally in love with it that I began to identify as a gamer.
All you damn kids need to get the hell off my lawn. Legend of Zelda. Like, the first one. On the Nintendo. I played it at my best friend’s house, and knew instantly me and games would be BFF, even though I was a tiny, tiny baby girl back then. The first one I personally owned was Super Mario World for Super Nintendo. I played Final Fantasy IV and VI on the Super Nintendo they were called Final Fantasy II and Final Fantasy III, respectively, in the US. I am always amazed at some of you young kids saying PS2 games introduced you to gaming. Tch. PS2. Those are new-fangled games, for all the whippersnappers.
Well, when FFX was first released, I was 28. So I am not exactly a whippersnapper. ;)
My husband (then college boyfriend) introduced me to my first video game - The Secret of Monkey Island. That’s the original version which I played in ‘92, not the updated version released on Steam in 2009.
Way back in the mists of time, I started gaming on my brother’s Apple //c, with games like Moon Patrol, Lode Runner and the first Ultimas (mostly 3, 4 and 5. Hence my username and icon). I moved up to PCs, 386es and upward, spending hours and hours on things like Wing Commander, TIE Fighter, Civilization (all of them) SimCity, LucasArts adventure games, the Ultimas, Command and Conquer and Dune II. My first console was a PS1 I bought myself, and thereafter I’ve always had both a console and a PC for gaming.
Basically I’ve been gaming since shortly after I learned to read.
super mario brothers on the super nintendo when i was really young ;) also played a lot of donkey kong. i liked country best.
then it was a nintendo 64 when they were brand new, for the new mario game, then a PS1 when they were the bees knees and being blown away by ff7 and reading all the gaming mags and walkthroughs. after that a PS2 bought for when FFX came out. then a PS3 and then finally, last year a gaming PC for skyrim, and then discovered mass effect.
Elite, Flashback, Mortal Kombat I and Dungeon Keeper are responsible for me playing games for the last 23 or so years. My first gaming thing was a ZX Spectrum that me and my Dad shared, and now all grown up in my own house I have a gaming PC and roughly 7 consoles under my television. I HAVE A LIFFFFE I SWEAR.
Sonic on my friend’s Sega Mega Drive, then Doom (the first one, kids) and Dungeon Keeper when we got a PC, then Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Goldeneye 007 and Star Fox on our Nintendo 64. When we got a PS1 I’d beat all my brothers’ friends at Tekken, and then Suikoden III and FInal Fantasy VII made me fall in love with RPGs.
And then some sick motherfucker suggested I play Baldur’s Gate and thus began a lifelong obsession with Bioware and PC gaming.
My dad helped me build my first PC when I was 11. It ran Windows NT and the 9-inch monitor showed everything in piss-yellow unless you hit it in the right place. YOU KIDS DON’T KNOW HOW GOOD YOU HAVE IT THESE DAYS.
I was gaming the second I could hold a controller and mash buttons. I didn’t own a Nintendo because my Dad hates Mario and refused to buy it, thus began my love for anything Sega and Sonic. I played on Sega Master System a lot, Kung-Fu Kid, Ghost House (the card cartridge games were cool!) and then when Genesis hit that was it.
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 specifically was my jam, Ghouls & Ghosts, Mortal Kombat (probably way too young for that one), etc etc. Ocarina of Time, GoldenEye, Diddy Kong Racing, Mario Kart, Perfect Dark and the 64 age was my first Nintendo and ONLY because my Dad got Goldeneye and loved Diddy Kong Racing. Final Fantasy VII is what made me fall head over heels in love with RPGs, orchestral music, which led me to play violin, story, etc. I was obfrigginsessed!
Dreamcast, would be my last “childhood” system I guess. I was 13 when that came out and the Dreamcast is still one of my favourite systems I own even though it’s life span was definitely short. My Dad and I would play together for hours screaming at each other and waging war while playing Soul Calibur, shouting our respective characters’ quotes, mine being Kilik and his Astaroth.
